Qui Robinez Download shop
We created a webshop for Qui Robinez. He is an excellent sound designer for synthesizers that now sells his sounds online. We didn't do the design for this website but we did build the shop using the open source Joomla CMS and Virtuemart shopping cart software including direct download plugin sales and PayPal payment. You can find the website on http://www.quirobinez.nl
Mindfulness Website
Recently I build a new website for a customer called Quantum Flow. It is
a website about the Mindfulness trainings he gives. My task was to
transfer the current website into a CMS driven website. I chose Joomla
for the CMS since I know that well, but it was the first time I used
version 2.5. For the design I had to use clouds and the colors and logo
were delivered to me as well. I did how ever introduce the transparency
in the design. I thought that openness would fit the subject of the
website very well. I also redid the logo to make it look for
professional. At first it was just a plain text font, now I think it
interacts very well with the rest of the theme. I also did a little
HTML5/Jquery animation for the text on the first page. Nothing very
complicated but I think it does add a bit of drama since it comes on
last and it invites you to read it. You can have a look at the website
on this URL: http://www.mindfulness.in
Groove Download Shop
This is a download shop that we build for Groove Unlimited. Customers can order music from this website as 256 kbit/s CBR MP3 or in the Lossless High Quality FLAC format. We built this webshop using Open Source software. We used Joomla for the CMS and VirtueMart for the shop software. Payment is done through PayPal and a payment provider called Ogone that takes bank transfers via Ideal and major credit cards like Mastercard, Visa and American Express. We used the same design as on the main Groove Unlimited website. You can find the shop on https://shop.groove.nl
E-LIVE 2012 Website
This is a website we build for the Dutch Electronic Music record label 'Groove Unlimited'. They organize a festival twice a year where several concerts take place during the day and there is a big area where artists sell CD's on their own stall. Groove Unlimited wanted to show the main acts in the style of the website. We got some pictures of the artists and made a composition in Photoshop. The colors of the rest of the website were matched to this. The purple color by now is linked to the E-live festival since it was used for the first time in 2011. Groove Unlimited wants to maintain the website themselves, so we build everything around the Open Source Content Management System (CMS) called Joomla. The nice thing about a CMS is that the content is separated from the look. The whole design of the website can be changed by uploading a new 'theme'. So for the next festival we can make a new look and feel quite easy without Groove Unlimited having to change anything. You can find the E-live Festival Website on this URL: http://www.e-live.nl
Synth.nl Apollo Website
Michel van Osenbruggen also write music scores for our video's and releases his own music on CD under the name Synth.nl. He creates synthesizer based instrumental music, influenced by Vangelis, Jean Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk, Art of Noise, Jan Hammer etc. Michel releases an album about once every year and wanted to have a new look and feel for the website with every new release. His latest release was about the Apollo space missions that NASA undertook during the 60's and 70's we tried to create an 'being on the moon feel' for his website, utilizing the artwork from the CD cover. We also implemented a flash mp3 player so that fans can listen to his music. This website is also build in the Joomla Content Management System (CMS) so Michel can change everything on the website himself. We also created a promo video for his album with a lot of 3D animation that you can find in the video section. You can find the Synth.nl Website on this URL:
Groove Unlimited Website
This is a website we build for a Dutch Electronic Music record label called 'Groove Unlimited'. Groove has been on the Internet since 1995, but decided now that is was time for a new look and different approach. This new website is running next to the existing website now that is acting more like a web shop that sells all kind of electronic music. Groove Unlimited also is a record label though and organizes their own festivals. This website will be used to promote their own artists and events and update the customers more often with interesting news. Our challenge was to make the website look modern and fresh and let the owner maintain it himself. So we chose to develop it around the Joomla Content Management System (CMS). Through the web-based back end the owner can edit all articles himself. We also made a 3D version of the old 2D logo to give it a more stylish and modern look. You can find the website on this URL:
E-live Festival Loom Website
This is a website we build for the Dutch Electronic Music record label 'Groove Unlimited'. They organize a festival twice a year where several concerts take place during the day and there is a big area where artists sell CD's on their own stall. For this occasion the main act is quite special and Groove Unlimited wanted that to reflect in the style of the website. We got the image of the three artists and matched the colors of the website to this picture. Groove Unlimited wanted to maintain the website himself, so we build it around the Open Source Content Management System (CMS) called Joomla. The nice thing about a CMS is that the content is separated from the look. The whole design of the website can be changed by uploading a new 'theme'.
